Eric C. Burling Founder & CEO
Eric C. Burling is the Founder and Chairman of SON Systems International, Inc. Mr. Burling has dedicated his career to the implementation of Information Systems that help Companies streamline business process, increase market share, and provide better access for clients to information. Under his leadership, SON Systems provided consulting services for many marquee organizations including: DuPont, Hercules, Motorola, Hewlett-Packard, Merrill Lynch and Cognos Corporation.
Eric has served as a Board member of Cognos Corporation's International Users Organization. Mr. Burling has also served as Board Chairman for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of FCCI (a division of Crown Financial Ministries). Eric holds a degree in Mathematics from Westminster College in western Pennsylvania.
Joey Beitdashtoo President & COO
Mr. Beitdashtoo is responsible for linking corporate business strategy and vision to operational innovation and execution at SON Systems. He brings extensive experience in the sales and delivery of software and services to Global 1000, SMB (small medium business) and Public Sector markets. His background reflects a consistent record of significant achievements and contributions in managing and leading a broad range of e-business activities in both a strategic and operational capacity. His career reflects a focus on strategic technology solutions, including Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management, Business Process Management, Analytic Applications, Enterprise Content Management, Enterprise Information Portal, Data Warehousing, ETL Solutions, Application Development, DBMS and Systems Integration.
Among his many positions held at various organizations, Joey has served as President & CEO of On Demand Enterprises, Inc., Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Board of Advisory Member at Mitratech Holdings, Inc., Chief Strategy Advisor to TRA, Inc. and Senior Vice President for Business Strategy at Hummingbird with responsibility for the company's Corporate Business Strategy, Global Strategic Alliances, Worldwide Professional Services, and Analytic Application Solutions.
Prior to joining Hummingbird, Joey culminated a sixteen year career with Cognos Corporation by serving as Vice President of Professional Services. He was integral to the early and continued operational and professional services success of the Cognos organization and was the recipient of numerous awards recognizing his achievements.
Mr. Beitdashtoo has established a reputation as a versatile senior executive with a demonstrated capacity to build and lead successful, sustainable businesses based on solid fundamentals, ethics, integrity, honor and trust. Mr. Beitdashtoo holds Bachelors and Masters of Science Degrees in Computer Science.
Lisa DeLaurentis Contracts & Finance Director
Ms. DeLaurentis is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience and consistent successful track record of increasing responsibility and complexity in finance and human resources with a unique blend of proven managerial and business expertise. Her particular emphasis on services growth environments and environments requiring considerable change make her an asset to our team at SON Systems. As the Director of Finance, she is responsible for providing leadership on financial accounting matters: defining and implementing policies and streamlining procedures that establish an environment of sound financial and process control. As the Director of Contracts, she is responsible for managing legal contracts and coordinating with existing or potential subcontractors, suppliers and partners to ensure proper documentation is obtained/maintained. Ms. DeLaurentis reviews, resolves terms and conditions flow-down requirements and negotiates directly, or works with source selection team in negotiation of contracts for price, quality, and schedule. She also reviews contract proposals for narrative content, pricing accuracy and reviews contract invoices/reports for accuracy and adequacy.
Ms. DeLaurentis brings a significant wealth of knowledge revolving around the development of services based business for Information Technology and related industries. Prior to this, Ms. DeLaurentis was a Business Manager for a non-profit organization. Her responsibilities included managing the day-to-day financial and IT operations, development of the organization's operating budget, cost analysis of program expenditures, and projection of organizational financial needs, accounting, purchasing, payroll, benefits, accounting transaction processing, system administration, and facilities. To summarize her accomplishments, Ms. DeLaurentis is a proactive business manager experienced in implementing internal business systems and providing sound financial advisory and administrative functions to achieve outstanding results.
Tim Burling Client Services Director
Mr. Burling is a seasoned software and integration professional with over 12 years of experience as a technical consultant, services development manager and client relationship manager. His broad range of client services and consultancy skills have been honed by his extensive experience developing and deploying information technology solutions in enterprise environments. As the Director of Client Services, he is responsible for client relationship satisfaction, logistics coordination and supporting our consultants with a road map for ongoing education and certification. His ability to quickly build trust, analyze the client's projects based on the skill sets needed to accomplish goals and match the right consultant to the client is some of what makes him effective in this role.
Most recently, as a Manager, Tim was responsible for resource management, staffing and partner relations at the company. He focused on overall staffing logistics and managing SON's network of independent sub-contractors and value-add partners. Prior to this, he worked as a consultant on projects delivering technical services focusing on application development and management. Tim began his career as a software consultant with XLConnect (now a division of Xerox Consulting), working on enterprise-wide installations of client-server based applications. He then joined General Electric's Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP). IMLP is the premier management training track for GE. Among other experiences, Tim managed consultants/teams, designed/built metrics dashboards and implemented Six Sigma Quality projects during his time with four GE businesses: Financial Assurance, Card Services, Modular Space and Capital Solutions.
Tim holds a Bachelors Degree in Business: Management Sciences & Information Technology from Virginia Tech, Pamplin School of Business. |
