Eric C. Burling
Founder & Chairman
Eric C. Burling is the Founder and Chairman of SON|Systems International, Inc. Mr. Burling has dedicated his career to the implementation of Information Systems that help Companies streamline business process, increase market share, and provide better access for clients to information. Under his leadership, SON|Systems provided consulting services for many marquee organizations including: DuPont, Hercules, Motorola, Hewlett-Packard, Merrill Lynch and Cognos Corporation.
Eric has served as a Board member of Cognos Corporation's International Users Organization. Mr. Burling has also served as Board Chairman for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of FCCI (a division of Crown Financial Ministries). Eric holds a degree in Mathematics from Westminster College in western Pennsylvania.

As CEO, Eric's primary focus is on SON|Systems' business model, strategy and people. Eric's vision of marrying strategy definition and measurement services with Business Intelligence technology expertise is driving the success of the SON|Systems organization today.
As Chief Performance Officer, Eric's aptitude for crafting industry specific Corporate Performance Management systems enabling critically-informed decisions across the client enterprise has placed SON|Systems in the trusted advisor role to Fortune 500 business and IT executives. He has architected CPM implementations across multiple industry verticals including High Tech Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Higher Education, Consumer Products and two branches of the United States Military.
With over fifteen years of consulting experience, Eric has delivered a wide range of solutions to his client's business challenges with firms such as Deloitte Consulting, Deloitte/Roundarch, and Cambridge Technology Partners. Initially specializing in Customer Relationship Management application deployment on platforms such as Siebel, Clarify and Vantive, Eric spent the next few years focused on delivering Enterprise Portal and Integration solutions based on BroadVision and BEA technologies.
Eric is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and holds a degree in Accounting.
Joey Beitdashtoo
President & COO
Mr. Beitdashtoo is responsible for linking corporate business strategy and vision to operational innovation and execution at SON|Systems. He brings extensive experience in the sales and delivery of software and services to Global 1000, SMB (small medium business) and Public Sector markets. His background reflects a consistent record of significant achievements and contributions in managing and leading a broad range of e-business activities in both a strategic and operational capacity. His career reflects a focus on strategic technology solutions, including Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management, Business Process Management, Analytic Applications, Enterprise Content Management, Enterprise Information Portal, Data Warehousing, ETL Solutions, Application Development, DBMS and Systems Integration.
Among his many positions held at various organizations, Joey has served as President & CEO of On Demand Enterprises, Inc., Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Board of Advisory Member at Mitratech Holdings, Inc., Chief Strategy Advisor to TRA, Inc. and Senior Vice President for Business Strategy at Hummingbird with responsibility for the company's Corporate Business Strategy, Global Strategic Alliances, Worldwide Professional Services, and Analytic Application Solutions.
Prior to joining Hummingbird, Joey culminated a sixteen year career with Cognos Corporation by serving as Vice President of Professional Services. He was integral to the early and continued operational and professional services success of the Cognos organization and was the recipient of numerous awards recognizing his achievements.
Mr. Beitdashtoo has established a reputation as a versatile senior executive with a demonstrated capacity to build and lead successful, sustainable businesses based on solid fundamentals, ethics, integrity, honor and trust. Mr. Beitdashtoo holds Bachelors and Masters of Science Degrees in Computer Science.
Dan Smith
Vice President of Performance Management Solutions
Dan Smith is the Managing Director for SON|Systems in the Eastern US with responsibility for all client solutions in the region. Dan comes to SON|Systems with over 15 years of successful implementations of Business Intelligence and Performance Management Solutions as a leader with firms such as Cambridge Technology Partners and AnswerThink Consulting. He has managed services delivery organizations in the US and Europe, and brought success to clients such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, MBNA, Merck, Deutche Telecom, and ABN-AMRO. Dan joined the SON Systems team after rising to the director level at Model N, a life-sciences analytics software provider.
Dan has degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and The Sloan School at MIT.
Clyde Smith
Advisory Board Member
Clyde provides executive support and advisory services to members of the SON|Systems leadership team and staff. Clyde's background includes extensive executive level experience in the telecommunication industry with companies such as TruePosition, Triton PCS and Alltel Mobile.
Mr. Smith is a graduate of both Columbia University and Baldwin-Wallace College and holds a Masters in Engineering Administration from George Washington University. |
